Show: Teen Titans Go Fuck Yourselves
Episode: 113
Year: 2015

Writer(s): Michael Jeleni, Aarnon Horvath
Director(s): Peter Rida Michail

This episode is basically the creators acknowledging that they fucked up making this show to begin with, and that they still don't want to own up for the flaws of their work! They're fully aware that the show is horrible, but they don't care! Seriously, these guys have never given the slightest trace of a fuck about the quality of this series whatsoever! I don't want to hate this show; rebooting the Teen Titans is a good idea in principle even if it's a lowbrow comedy, but you have to put EFFORT into what you do!

I stick with this show for reviews because it's actually a pretty fun show to rip on; it fails in a lot of unique ways and gives reviewers like myself a lot of material to work with. But I want to see you IMPROVE! I do these things because I want to see the show get better from criticism! Tom, the host of Toonami, said it best: "Criticism serves a healthy function. Sometimes it can even help you get better." I am NOT a mindless hater for this show. I am a critic, and critically, this show does suck. I do, however, like the good it's done however far and few those moments are and want to see more stuff like that. But when the creators are telling me they don't care about what the fans think of their work, that's going too far. They almost go as far as to address certain critics by name here! This is the type of show I'd expect the gang from Mystery Science Theatre 3000 to riff.

Honestly, the idea that Control Freak is responsible for the show becoming what it is laughably possible; the guy in principle is the most powerful villain from the original cartoon with the ability to use the power of TV to warp reality itself. He's basically Jack Spicer with superpowers and no ghost to tell him to zip his fly. He's the ultimate fanboy nerd and represents a good chunk of comic book geeks out there pretty well. He's one of the few things this show didn't taint! However, as the villain, I'm supposed to find his criticisms of the show itself dastardly and wrong and side with the Toddlers. He's successfully addressed EVERY complaint we have been lodging at the show from the start, and they treat our valid criticisms as if we're just stupid whiny man-children who can't take doody jokes!

I don't want the show to be super serious, I don’t want be told I'm too old to be watching cartoons, AND I DON'T WANNA HAVE MY VALID COMPLANTS THROWN BACK UP INTO MY FUCKING FACE! I just want the show to be less stupid and obnoxious! Why is that so hard for you people to understand? Whenever this show does messages such as this, I'm not entirely sure if they're honestly serious about them like in "Knowledge" or "Boys vs. Girls"; I can't tell what they're being serious about at any given time, but I have to take all their morals seriously regardless. And I see this as them being serious about their lesson. They're saying critics are bullshit and our opinions don't matter to them.

This is the third time you've done something like this and it's getting old! Teaching people to forget about their childhood is on the same level of bad as being told your opinions and criticism aren't worth anything; it's disgusting, plain and simple. I'd like to say some things about the people who're working on this show, but I don't want to make the mistakes others have made in the past to avoid looking like I'm insane or a bully. I get people think differently from others, but you guys can't have thought that doing stuff like this was a good idea, right? I want to believe the network executives forced you to do this, but the stuff you've stated prior in other conversations leads me to believe you as the creators are at fault for the show's failings.

Oh, I'm going to keep on reviewing your show; it's a very interesting failure, indeed. It's actually really fun for me to do this, and I can do this as long as I want without getting bored of it. Maybe I'll do some good from it along the way, but let's be honest: you guys don't give a shit about what I have to say with my petty little opinions and no taste in doody and toot jokes! I'll admit the way the original series ended wasn't very good, but this is not the proper way to make up for that! This show is basically The Drawn Together Movie: The Movie! but for kids! It's bitter about the people who rightfully criticize its faults and doesn't understand anything about anything. It knows it's terrible and doesn't care! And you cannot use the excuse that the creators never watched the original show because, at this point, they obviously have. I still wouldn't put it among my top 10 worst cartoons of all time though; maybe worst of the 2010s, but not of all time.
