If there's any episode of Dexter's Lab that I'd call underrated and forgotten, it's this bad boy! So many people overlook this magnificent marvel with things like “Last But Not Beast” or “Golden Diskette”, and while those are amazing and dare I say better episodes, this episode has a very special place in the heart of the series. If there were any episode of Dexter's Lab that can prove how Americans once upon a time were the fathers of the animation industry while attributing our countries two greatest presidents in their most badass incarnations, this would be that episode! Giant monsters are always fucking cool, and to turn the mightiest presidents in our countries great history (besides Teddy Roosevelt whose very bad-assery would annihilate the galaxy and possibly beyond) into the next Godzilla Vs. King Kong battle royale is perhaps the greatest American tribute one can possibly accomplish! Granted, this episode is not flawless: why Dexter would just blurt out the idea within earshot of Mandark is beyond me, and how Washington didn't annihilate Dexter's home entirely in one blow is baffling. But you know, cartoons; some minor logically fallacies aren't going to detract this episodes amazement. The ending especially holds up as one of the funniest endings in Dexter's Lab’s history. So just remember kiddies: those mighty monoliths representing our founding fathers are still lying in wait in the black hills of South Dakota, awaiting the day when they will RISE UP AND DESTROY US ALL!
