This new Mickey Mouse series really helped me regain my faith that Disney could do quality work with their own mascot. Because after Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Get A Horse! I figured the mouse would've been dead by now. These shorts truly do capture the spirit of the original cartoons with a nice modern feel to them. In essence these shorts are timeless and in 10 years they'll still be relevant and fun. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse will be all but forgotten in that time.

This episode in particular is one of the few so far to star Minnie. In every cartoon where she takes care of Pluto expect it to be absolutely hillarious. I just love Mickey's baby names for Minnie and Pluto, he actually has a great personality in these new shorts reminiscent of the Floyd Gottfredson comics, he's a super nice guy, but he isn't afraid to defend himself. Not some weakling panty waste used to sell toys.

The real stars here like I sad are Minnie and Pluto and they work well together. I actually can believe she would feed Pluto so many treats, considering she once dyed him purple. Fat Pluto is an example of how you do fat jokes and actually make them funny, you don't do them directly, rather make them over the top without saying he's fat. And that shot right there of Minnie when she was fat works well as a before and after pic, I didn't think it was possible to make her even more adorable. I really wish there was more weight gain/inflation artwork of Minnie.

Her little jog with Pluto is really funny and seeing Pluto get so ripped to beat up those dogs, wow. I'd say Michael Vick would kill for a dog like that, but Pluto in that state would maul him. This is easily one of the better getting in shape cartoons I've seen, even for something so short, but sometimes it's the journey not the destination. That's also this series' greatest strength, fast paced humor in under 5 minutes. I highly recommend this short. I'll get around to more of them later.

Doggone Biscuits is owned by Disney.

Mickey: Wow Minnie, did you work out?
